Opening August of 2025!!!
Whitesboro, Texas
The Special Needs Dayhab-Whitesboro was created by school teachers Eric and Marci Littleton when their son, Solomon, turned twenty-two and aged out of public school. Recognizing that there was a great need for a dayhab facility for this population in the Whitesboro, Texas area, the Littleton's began their dream of helping other families who faced the same challenges as them.
The Special Needs Dayhab mission is to provide a safe, loving, nurturing, supportive, inclusive environment where individuals with special needs can grow, learn, and get involved with their community. With the help of local churches, businesses, community volunteers, and schools, our goal is to have our special needs population go on weekly field trips where they can be engaged physically, emotionally, spiritually, and cognitively. As the founders of The Special Needs Dayhab and parents of a special needs son, Eric and Marci Littleton aim not only to enhance the independence of these young adults, but also to foster long-lasting and formative social connections to enrich the lives of these individuals. The Special Needs Dayhab is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, comfortable, and loving space that any person from any walk of life can call a home. Learning outcomes include but are not limited to social skills development, hands on involvement, life skills training, recreational activities, and much, much, more!
